Fiona Gartland has been a journalist with The Irish Times for fourteen
years and has covered many cases at the Criminal Courts of Justice and
at Family Court. She was shortlisted for the Francis McManus Short
Story Competition on half a dozen occasions, has had stories broadcast
and has been published in magazines. Her first novel, In the Court’s
Hands, was published in 2018.
She lives in Dublin with her husband and four children.
