Mary O'Sullivan,

Author of Parting Company, As Easy As That, Ebb and Flow

 

 

Originally from Limerick , Mary O’Sullivan was inspired to write her first book by seeing the effect that cancer had on both her parents, ‘I began to expand the story during my mother’s final illness. She enjoyed listening as I read the work in progress. When she died…finishing Parting Company became part of the grieving process for me’.

A keen Formula One racing fan, Mary has had experience in writing for local newspapers (such as Carrigdhoun Weekly) and was also published in the Irish Examiner.

Formerly a lab technician, Mary is now a full time writer. She is married with two children and currently resides in Co. Cork.
