He attended the Christian Brothers School Armagh Road, Crumlin and the Vocational Educational School Clogher Road Crumlin.

After completing his studies, Paul entered the horticultural industry working for a local nursery growing a vast variety of both indoor and out door plants.

Now he is part of the Airport Search Unit Dublin Airport were he is part of a team responsible for safeguarding civil aviation from acts of terrorism, which Paul finds both challenging and worthwhile.

His free time away from work is spent working on vintage motorcycles in his workshop at the side of his house.

In 2004 Paul joined the Paranormal Research Association of Ireland, enabling him to investigate some fascinating haunted locations around Ireland.
